Who Are We?
Compton Green Vineyard is a 5.5-acre vineyard, 2 miles north of Newent in Gloucestershire. It is set amidst beautiful rolling countryside on deep, well-drained soil, ideal for vines.
The vineyard began life in 1991 with the first planting of 2.5 acres of Madeleine Angevine. Since then we have added a range varieties for both red and white wines with our newest planting just 2 years ago.
We produce a range of white, red and rosé still wines as well as a small quantity of our sparkling wine “Vintage Reserve.”
This wine is made by the traditional method of secondary bottle fermentation.
Our wines are made by the acclaimed winemakers of the local Three Choirs Vineyards.
